What is GBDI? / GBDIって何ですか？ +
It's a small private club for dogs with good manners — and for the cafés, restaurants, and bars that love welcoming them. Members come hang out with us for 30 minutes, we say hi, and if everyone feels good you get a Member Card. That's the whole thing. / マナーのいいわんちゃんと、それを歓迎してくれるお店のための、ちいさなクラブです。30分ほどご挨拶して、お互い気持ちよければメンバーカードをお渡しします。それだけです。
Is this a government certification? / これは公的な認定ですか？ +
Nope — we're a small private club. Our Member Card isn't a legal document, and every partner venue always decides for themselves who to welcome. Think of it like your favorite café choosing its own pet policy — that's exactly what this is. / いいえ、私たちは民間のちいさなクラブです。カードに法的な効力はなく、どのわんちゃんを迎えるかは各店舗が自由に決めます。
How do I join? / どうやって入会しますか？ +
Just send us a quick note via /join/member. We'll reply within a day or two to set up a 30-minute meet-and-greet — basically a chill hangout with you and your dog. Most dogs do great. / /join/member からひとこと送ってください。1〜2日で返信して、30分ほどのご挨拶の日程を決めます。
My dog is shy — is that OK? / うちの子は人見知りです。大丈夫？ +
Totally OK. Lots of dogs are shy at first, and we're patient people. If your dog needs more time, we can meet again another day — or two, or three. There's no deadline. / 大丈夫です。人見知りの子はたくさんいます。何度お会いしても構いません。
What if my dog has an off day? / その日たまたま調子が悪かったら？ +
Everyone has off days. We'll just reschedule and try again when your dog is feeling more themselves. No pass/fail, no drama. / わんちゃんも人間と一緒で、調子の悪い日があります。別の日にもう一度お会いしましょう。合否のようなものはありません。
What will you look at during the meet-and-greet? / 当日は何を見ていますか？ +
Things that naturally come up when you hang out with a dog — are they comfortable around new people, do they ignore a dropped crumb, can they settle for a few minutes. How much does it cost? / いくらですか？ +
Initial meet-and-greet ¥5,000. Then it's ¥3,000/year for Standard or ¥8,000/year for Premium (which includes the physical card). Juniors (under 1 year) are ¥3,000 once and free for the first year. Full refund within 14 days if it's not for you. / 初回ご挨拶 ¥5,000、その後 Standard ¥3,000/年 または Premium ¥8,000/年。ジュニアは ¥3,000（初年度無料）。14日以内なら全額返金です。
Can I bring two dogs? / 2頭連れていけますか？ +
Yes, no problem. Just let us know in your note and we'll plan a bit more time. / もちろん。ひとことお知らせください。
Can I take my member dog to any restaurant? / どのお店にも連れて行けますか？ +
Only to our partner venues — they're the ones who've told us they'd love to welcome members. And each venue always decides its own rules on the day. See /partners for the current list. / 提携店のみです。各店舗が自分のルールで判断します。
How long is the membership? / 有効期間は？ +
2 years. After that we just catch up over coffee and renew — no need to go through the whole meet-and-greet again. / 2年間です。更新時は再度のご挨拶は不要です。
Where do you hold the meet-and-greet? / 場所はどこですか？ +
Tokyo right now — we can come to a park near you, or we can meet at a partner café. Yokohama and Kyoto coming soon. / 現在は東京。お近くの公園まで伺うか、提携カフェでお会いします。横浜・京都もまもなく。
What about insurance? / 保険は？ +
We're currently setting up a liability plan to cover member dogs visiting partner venues. As always, the owner is the one who knows their dog best and is primarily responsible. / 提携店で万一のことがあった時の備えを準備中です。
Can my puppy join? / 子犬でも入れますか？ +
Yes — puppies 6–12 months can join as Juniors with a simpler hangout (¥3,000, free first year). They just become regular members at 1 year. / 6〜12ヶ月の子犬はジュニアで入会できます。1歳になったらスタンダードへ自動で移行します。
Can I change my mind? / やっぱりやめたくなったら？ +
Of course. Just email [email protected]. Within 14 days of your meet-and-greet, you get a full refund — no questions asked. / もちろんです。[email protected] までご連絡ください。14日以内なら全額返金します。
